Jihong Park is a commercial photographer based in Seoul, Korea. Born in Korea 1979, Park’s interest in photography began at a small high-school library, where he met a photograph collection of beloved photographer Richard Avedon. After four years of BA degree in Photography from Kyungsung University, Park started to work as a full-time photographic assistant for numerous trending famous Photographers in Korea. Park opened his first studio in Seoul in 2008 and began to influence the industry slowly. At the age of twenty-eight Park shot his first pictorial for Noblesse Korea and worked with numerous magazines and publications ever since. Park also has a long-lasting relationship with jewelry, fashion and cosmetic brands. They all say there is a reason they cannot leave him and there are things that only he can do. Park received Bvlgari’s world marketing best cut award in 2011 and Heineken’s world marketing best cut award in 2012. Throughout ten years of photographic career, his conceptual thinking and an eager for a perfection was always reflected in his work. However, he still craves for more and better.
